Promotion of Educational Institute through New Media
Abstract
Today various people are spending most of the time on new media which has become is a medium for the promotion of Educational Institutions. Educational institutes are using new media to promote their courses and activities through website, official Facebook Profile, Twitter Profile and Instagram Profile. The Educational institutions, colleges and universities build their brand around their institutional personality, which include their vision, mission, values and various stakeholders. At present scenario most of the educational institutions, colleges and universities considered students as customers. The enlarged use of new media is a major influence in the field of education today. The education sector is a completely revolutionized sector since the majority of the students are users of internet. This has a direct implication on the fact that educational institutions and universities need to make increased use of their website to reach out to more students.
