Social Media Applications in School Libraries in Uttar Pradesh: A Study

Abstract


Digital India concept is reviving the trends of current library professionalism. The mobile/smart phones are the genuine gift of technological transformation and development to the present generation. School librarians are using social media applications. Nowadays these apps are very popular among the students, professionals, and households. Almost everyone is using them to promote their professional proficiency, products and services through social media applications like Facebook, WhatsApp, Wikies, SNS (ex. Digg), micro blogging sites, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
