A Systematic and Comparative Evaluation of Content Management Systems
Abstract
This article investigates different components of Content Management System (CMS), like Drupal, WordPress and Joomla. This comparison is of these open source CMS is in view of main element, which are shown in the table, in the body of the article. Depending upon the components depicted in the form of a table, one can discover the suitable open source CMS for their use and application. Here three open source CMS mentioned above, with their ten primary components have been studied like system requirements, security, support, ease of use, performance, management, interoperability, flexibility, built in application and commerce. This article gives a complete overview of the three CMS, which are evaluated for the benefit of the users. The advantage of using a CMS, particularly for website creation, is that it doesn't require a broad learning of coding like in HTML.
