A Study of Correlation between Job Stress and Job Satisfaction of the College Librarian in Thane District
Abstract
This study focused on Correlation between job stress and job satisfaction of the college librarian in Thane district. The objectives of the study i) Imminent concept job stress & job satisfaction of the college librarian. ii) To compare job stress & job satisfaction on various group of the college librarian. iii) To study the Correlation between job stress & job satisfaction on various group of the college librarian. Descriptive/ Co relational method was used for the study. The sample for this study was 86 librarian in Art’s, Commerce, Science and Education college situated in thane District and affiliated to the Mumbai university. The data were collected with the help of job stress Scale and job satisfaction Scale. It were analyzed with Mean, S.D., ‘t’ test and ‘r’ –value. The result shows that there is significant Correlation between job stress and job satisfaction of total number of college librarian thus the hypothesis is rejected.
